Rod often has to travel for his job and some months are busier than others. This month has been a busy one, leaving me home with the four kids all on my own. He flew home today, but has to leave again tomorrow.
But, I was pleasantly surprised to find the following in my email box today:
"Michelle's itinerary for Monday, August 25th."
6:00 AM - Receive kiss on cheek while sleeping
10:00 AM - Wake up to pleasant aroma of fresh coffee
10:15 AM - Shower and primp in peace
11:15 AM - Depart for brunch/lunch date with BFF
11:30 AM - Engaging conversation and a delightful meal
1:15 PM - Depart for location of choice (options Old Town, Centerra, home, etc.)
1:30 PM - Enjoy self while BFF has a short conference call
1:45 PM - Enjoy walking, snuggling or other activity with BFF
2:45 PM - Nap while BFF picks up kids from school
3:45 PM - Greet happy children with broad smile and open arms
4:00 PM - Hang out with BFF while he packs his suitcase
4:30 PM - Extended, passionate kiss goodbye
(This is why he is my true BFF and should be nominated as husband of the year.)
